Operations must provide for the safe and efficient movement of vessel traffic and for the protection of the environment within their area of jurisdiction.
Our VTS systems provide the operator with real-time traffic images of vessels within the surveillance area. The system provides tools and alerts to assist them in responding to critical situations and in issuing advisories to vessels such as:
- Passage planning and route monitoring to minimize congestion in difficult areas,
- Set alarms to respond to hazardous vessel movements or non compliance,
- Access port, country or worldwide databases for ship specific information and histories,
- Communicate with Pilot and Tug and allied services,
- Interfaces with other authorities in the area as required.
